Eating certain foods to lose weight is one thing, but it can’t be the only thing we concentrate on when it comes to planning, setting and maintaining a diet. The body has a number of dietary requirements in order to get the nutrients it needs to fight off what could be fatal diseases. It’s not always possible to eat zero calorie foods with no salt or sugar. Sure, we’d lose a lot of weight but could end up losing something a lot more important further down the line - our life. The perfect diet is one that consists of low fat foods, sure, but also super foods. For those not in the know, super foods are foods that contains the nutritional vitamins and nutrients needed by our body which are not always found in your typical health foods. The body needs salt and sugar, we just need to find the correct sources of it and avoid the others. Beans, Apples, Oranges and even Dark Chocolate are great for the body. Yes, even chocolate as it is a super food and contains what your body needs. If you eat the right type and right amount, it won’t make that much difference to your weight loss plan and could save you from something serious down the line.
